Problem Statement

It is very annoying that when I forgot to record the time and clicked on the botton that let me add time to a task, the dialog covered the task behind it so I can't see the name of the task. Then if I closed that dialog the time is cleared, I couldn't add them back. If I don't close it, I don't know what's the name of the task I'm trying to add the time to.

❔ Possible Solution

Show a list of all the task that are not currently labeled as fnished when I click on the text box, so if I forgot the name, I could scroll through the list and find it. It would be even better if the task is shown in a specific order (i.e. the order I arranged them in the current project / tag / Today.

Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding!

I agree! We should not filter out (non archived) done tasks from the suggestion list.
