How can I add xcworkspace in to Runner

As you know, under our runner project .when we add the xcodeproj file, it works smoothly and is even listed under the Runner (Unity-iphone), and we can also see it under it with scroll-down, but when we install packages such as Firebase, we now need to add xcworkspace, but when I add it to the runner latina, it doesn't add properly. and we can't scroll down and see the child elements either, how can we solve this
