Support outside Jupyter environment

Hi
I have a question about jupyterlab-lsp support. Is the extension designed to be fully supported outside the Jupyter environment? Specifically, can I use jupyterlab-lsp in python modules which run without the Jupyter notebooks environment?

Thanks for asking! From the formulation of the question it is not clear: are you asking as a user, or developer of jupyter extensions?
