Description

In JupyterLab examples CI job, we are seeing the following error:

error >> WebSocket connection to 'ws://localhost:8888/foo/api/kernels/a1b7ca87-4025-4394-91b7-917b42db4d1a/channels?session_id=fd82a883-fb34-4e78-b7a6-792d33ab0ca4' failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Sent non-empty 'Sec-WebSocket-Protocol' header but no response was received

It happens seems to correspond to jupyter-server rc7 release.

I'm unsure where it should be fixed.
