At present, clicking on a link in JupyterLab desktop will open the link in a separate window in JupyterLab. It would be great if
instead the links are opened in the system's default browser (i.e. Chrome, Safari, etc).

Version of the app I'm using: Version 3.6.1-3 (3.6.1-3)

is there any updates on this question? maybe setting that can be used?

This bug is basically the reason I open my jupyter-notebooks in vscode now...
