I tried running this on a compressed copy of RFC1951. The first part of it worked fine; however, after a while it started to produce incorrect data, possibly due to incorrect backreferences. For instance, when it reached the table of contents, it wrote that out as:

T{able }{of }C{ion}{ents}

Note the extra 'i'. The errors got worse as the decompression progressed.
