Just stumbled over this repo - great effort!

I've recently started using git-sv - which is a generic CLI tool doing pretty much the same as autonewsmd. Not mentioning if for competition, just as a head-up/hint.

It is written in go, distributed as a single-binary and works with any local git repo.

(Feel free to close/delete if you don't want such things to be shared)
