Log ID: be09d31aa3f3a65a1c65da1c

Running keybase version 6.3.1-20240604204202+8a112fbd55 on Linux 6.5.0-44-generic x86_64,
Distributor ID: Linuxmint
Description: Linux Mint 21.3
Release: 21.3
Codename: virginia

I seem to have a problem between rclone, keybase, and nemo. Or at least the issue started after installing and configuring rclone. The sequence of events is that I installed and configured rclone. At some point, I was doing some file-y things and was unable to load nemo. actually looking to read some /keybase files. I then quit the keybase app, and nemo immediately loaded, but I could not navigate to /keybase .

On reboot, I was able to navigate to /keybase through the commandline, but was unable to open Nemo again. If I stop keybase client and restart, I can use Nemo and keybase app, but cannot change to the /keybase dir.
cd /keybase bash: cd: /keybase: Transport endpoint is not connected

If I try to re-install keybase, I get an error:
dpkg: error processing package keybase (--configure): installed keybase package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: keybase E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The only way I can get back to a state where keybase will install cleanly is to remove it, remove the /keybase and /Keybase in ~/.config, reboot, install, reboot

I am having a similar problem on Fedora 40. It makes the gui seize (pcman-fm, terminal, etc). I fixed it once with remove it, remove the /keybase and /Keybase in ~/.config, reboot, install, reboot. But that gets old.
