In meta data editor ( extended meta data view):
I have a simple monograph, and I want to add chapters.
If I do this, I can only put one page on this new chapter.

Expected would be to have at least the possibility to add all "remaining" pages.

Please check and/or explain.

As the title of the dialog in your screenshot suggests, you used the option to create a new structure element from selected pages. That is the reason why you can't change the pages in that dialog:

If you want to create new structure elements and select the assigned pages in the dialog, you should instead use the context menu option Add element/Element hinzufügen which is available when selecting a structure element instead of pages:

Even, If I have understood the general idea of your explanation, I cannot get the simple "Add Element" context menu in my environment. It looks like that always a page is selected.

Or, how can I de-select all pages?
(Hint: I am in extended meta data view).

(Hint: I am in extended meta data view).

I think that may be the important point.
There are some features in the metadata editor that are not yet available in the extend structure view. See #4380 for example.
Perhaps you could include this information in the issue title and/or description?

@solth : Again the question, if the "extended meta data view" is still available.
If not, this issue can be closed.

The extended view is still avaible (red switch)

fyi: I do not use "Extended Structure" anymore. Therefore, this issue has low to zero priority for myself.

@solth : Feel free to close this issue, or keep it open - as you wish ...

@stefanCCS thanks for the comments. There are several features of the editor that are not really incoporated into the extended view, yet, so I will keep this issue open until we have feature parity between combined and extended tree.
