Building apk with Windows Subsystem for Linux: sh.ErrorReturnCode_127

Hello there!
I'm trying to build an app's apk on Windows10 without doing a dual boot, which I feel incapable of doing and would rather avoid. I've read on a couple of places that there were ways to do that with Windows Subsystem for Linux.
I've followed the instructions of this video:

Then I had the issue "sdkmanager is notinstalled" (#927), which I think I solved by running:

cd ~/.buildozer/android/platform/android-sdk
wget https://dl.google.com/android/repository/sdk-tools-linux-4333796.zip
unzip sdk-tools-linux-4333796.zip
mv sdk-tools-linux-4333796.zip.1 sdk-tools-linux-4333796

After this I didn't get "sdkmannager is notinstalled" anymore, although I get a fairly lengthy error while trying to build the apk with buildozer android debug which I am not competent enough to describe better than the log.

This is because you're missing some system dependencies, e.g. autoreconf

Thank you very much, @AndreMiras .
I have done sudo apt install autoconf and now run into error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL and error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LD.
Looking online, issues mentioning this error include something about cmake, which I have installed with brew. However, I don't see how this relates to buildozer.
I've also read to try autoreconf -i --force && ./configure, which in my case yields: autoreconf: 'configure.ac' or 'configure.in' is required.

Yes it's also some missing system dependencies.
Basically it's some requirements from the libffi recipe, see https://github.com/kivy/python-for-android/blob/v2019.10.06/pythonforandroid/recipes/libffi/__init__.py#L12-L14
Try also to install pkg-config, libtool and autogen.

That solved this issue.
Without great surprise, I run into an other error now: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named '_ctypes'. Looking it up on the internet, it seemed that for most everyone installing libffi-dev solved the issue, so I did sudo apt-get install libffi-dev, but the ModuleNotFoundError still shows up. I also tried uninstalling python3, installing libffi-dev then reinstalling python3, since I read somewhere that might help.
I also tried https://stackoverflow.com/a/41310760, which did not yield any result.

make sure to do a clean build (rm -rf .buildozer) after installing libffi-dev, sadly it can't detect it needs to rebuild the recipe after you installed it.

Sooo I did that, and now I have a syntax error which I feel is quite unrelated. I figured I might've messed something up with my python installations, as there really shouldn't be a syntax error unless maybe I'm implicitely running with an incompatible verison of python.
python -V yields Python 2.7.17, and which python yields /usr/bin/python.
I'm sorry about not succeeding at solving this on my own.

oh duh, it seems your buildozer is installed in python2.7, and so it tries to run p4a with 2.7 as well, wich doesn't work anymore as p4a is python3 only now, you should pip uninstall buildozer and then pip3 install buildozer to make sure it's installed with python3.

Thanks tshirtman, I hadn't thought it was buildozer itself that could be installed with a different version of Python.
It seems however that some code executed after running buildozer android debug is intended for Python2.7, as I ran into many syntax errors like:
