# List as sections
#
# You can define all the "list" as [section:key].
# Each line will be considered as a option to the list.
# Let's take [app] / source.exclude_patterns.
# Instead of doing:
#
#[app]
#source.exclude_patterns = license,data/audio/*.wav,data/images/original/*
#
# This can be translated into:
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns]
#license
#data/audio/*.wav
#data/images/original/*
#

# -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Profiles
#
# You can extend section / key with a profile
# For example, you want to deploy a demo version of your application without
# HD content. You could first change the title to add "(demo)" in the name
# and extend the excluded directories to remove the HD content.
#
#[app@demo]
#title = My Application (demo)
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns@demo]
#images/hd/*
#
# Then, invoke the command line with the "demo" profile:
#
#buildozer --profile demo android debug

Yes p4a is using some Python3 only syntax now https://github.com/kivy/python-for-android/blob/01c0607/pythonforandroid/distribution.py#L48
Uninstall buildozer from python2 and install it with python3.

pip uninstall buildozer
pip3 install --upgrade --user buildozer

Yes your setup could be messed up. By the way I do not recommend installing python packages as root

When i try to install it without sudo it returns Could not install packages due to an EnvironmentError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/home/andres/.local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/appdirs.py' Check the permissions

Yes things that got installed with sudo definitely need to be uninstalled with sudo. But then don't use sudo ever again, but instead the --user flag of pip

I did it already but now i get another error:[ERROR]: Build failed: Requested API target 27 is not available, install it with the SDK android tool.

I had the same issue.
There are some (old) manuals with python2 commands.
I had to run the setup.py of the Buildozer in python3.

The "README.md" file should be edited I think.
