Buildozer doesn't appear to deal with my jar file. I've also tried extracting the jar and using the java method, again, my app crashes saying it can't find the relevant activity on android.
If I manually put the java classes in the build folder and rebuild, it seems to work so it would definitely appear to be a bulldozer issue.
I have encountered this issue several times. Usually directly after performing a dist clean, I end up performing a dist clean again, and the jars will copy this time.
Incidentally, what directory do you copy them into manually?
I ran into this exact issue. My hacky workaround was to list the JARs under the android.add_aars config option instead. For whatever reasons that worked just fine.
kivy and bulldozer are latest versions.
