Can we add bullet points to TOC, and other questions regarding ODT exporter

Most of my queries are simple, just learning my way around the ODT styles relative HTML and CSS styles.

1. I'd like some simple org-snippets to align images on the left and right, wrap some text blocks around images, put two org-src-code blocks on the same line taking half the page, and have the feeling of control over styling one gets with HTML css.

2. For example, 'style:name="OrgIndexSection"' and 'style:class="index"' , as I understand the name is the class, then I am wondering what is the class, and where can one find the 'index' style?

3. Can we add bullet points to table of contents?

4. When toc background color is changed, the indent background color remains.

5. Can we wrap a word with a custom ODT class?

6. How to do control text wrapping around images from custom styling?

7. Another issue is that Google Docs removes much of the styling and misinterprets some of the styling.

8. Example, when you fix the size of an image, align it say left, and wrap text around it from org-mode to ODT, then import the ODT into Google Docs, the image size resets to full width, it centers and there is no text wrapping.

9. Some colors are also confused in the conversion from ODT to Google Docs. It seems likely Google Docs has custom open document styling and the correct way to use that styling in org-mode exports is to include it in:

To apply custom styles

1. You need to know how to use LibreOffice https://github.com/kjambunathan/org-mode-ox-odt#good-resources-for-learning-libreoffice. (Consult the first link in that list)
2. You need to know how to use the LibreOffice stylist. See the very first article in https://github.com/kjambunathan/org-mode-ox-odt#blog-style-articles . (Consult the first link in that list)
3. Once you have created a style to your liking, you can use the command M-x org-odt-insert-style-name-or-style-definition-from-file to insert the XML definition of the style in the org file. The nxml blocks that you see in the examples below are created by LibreOffice, and I have used this command-- org-odt-insert-style-name-or-style-definition-from-file--- to extract them out of the ODT file in to org file.

(3) above is an optional step, and you use it when you wanted to "bundle" the styles right within the ODT file. (If you are using the OTT file, then you need to circulate the org file along with the OTT styles file)

Styling is a matter of taste. And I cannot guess your taste or what you want to achieve. It is one of the reasons why I suggest you share your org file and screenshots.

Another issue is that Google Docs removes much of the styling and misinterprets some of the styling.

Without any example, I cannot comment on your situation.

You will have better results if you use the following setting to produce doc, docx and Google Docs documents.

If the image has captions, then you may have to use customshapes. See A simple document with a captioned image (produced in LibreOffice by hand) isn't displayed properly when uploaded to Google Docs
