Customizable emoticon list

What is the expected behavior? What do you see instead?
I the settings I hoped to find a way to edit the list of available emoticons, 
just like the suggested punctuation can be edited.
Finding a file where the emoticons are stored and editing that would also be 
useful, but I have been unable to find that as well.

What version of Hacker's Keyboard are you using? (See "Debug" section at
the bottom of the app's Settings menu.)

Sorry, I'll need to defer that until I have more generic remapping support in 
place, please see issue 13 for that.
