Since I first got an Android phone, I always longed for a standard full keyboard 'physical' layout without the numpad (sometimes called slim keyboard). The closest thing I could find is Hacker's Keyboard, which is the only soft keyboard I use on Android since I've found about it.
But still – it does not have standard layout. And there are some keys which I never used, don't even plan to, which cannot be (afaik) removed, namely the keyboard settings button (I have rooted device, so I removed the Android keyboard altogether, because I haven't used it at all), the square thingy between alt and space bar, and the circle key. On the other hand, I really miss the home, pgup, pgdn, and end keys (pressing fn key is somewhat slowing the whole process), sometimes even f1 to f12 (which though can be enabled, but only on en_US locale, while I prefer en_GB).
Moreover, it would be nice to have the enter/return key in two rows, while moving the # key (on en_US, I think it's \ character) to home row between ' and enter/return keys. But this not as important to me as the requests from previous paragraph.
I know, you code this wonderful app in your free time, but somewhat this would also solve issue #487 and #13 (at least for some people). But it would be nice that, unlike the so-called experimental en_US kblo, this work on any layout which is currently supported.
Finnaly, here's an image found on Google, how it would look like (it's almost perfect, except the fn and ctrl keys should be swapped up).
