Bug report - SpotMenu disappears when pressing the button "Play next"

Description

SpotMenu disappears from the menu bar when pressing the button "Next song" (F7)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make sure SpotMenu is open and Spotify is playing
2. Press Fn + F7 (Play next)
3. SpotMenu disappears.

Expected behavior:
Next track is selected and starts playing and SpotMenu remains in the menu bar

SpotMenu version: 1.8
MacOS version: 10.13.3 (17D102)

I believe this is the same issue as this. Unfortunately, I do not have good solution for it.
Please let me know if this is what you are experiencing.

You seem to be correct... when playing next and the song title & artist are short it doesn't disappear...
And when it is longer, it does disappear...
Any fix coming in the near future?

Same problem. It disappears when i'm outside of the spotify window.
