I'm not sure if you want to take suggestions here, but if you can have it read .cue (.cue + .bin) you could have the bios run and use the audio tracks on cd's as some games like Doom, Final Doom, Mortal Kombat (one of them) have cd audio for their respective titles.
Additionally, set it up to use CHD and M3U files for multi disc. If you don't want or need the suggestions, feel free to delete this issue. I'm always stoked when someone does something that people say can't be done.

I know this isn't something one can simply add, I'm learning java so that I can mod minecraft and I'm having a horrible time remembering everything that I need to use and what not.

I do support bin and iso but not the .cue file. When reading the file I detect the sectors and build a own TOC. Though not ideal it works for a lot of games like: SCARS, Psybadek and such all have CD audio. I'll leave the story open nonetheless because maybe there are other file types that handy to support.

are you interested in SBI implementation? Many PAL games require it

did not know about SBI, but seems nice to have for the games that require it.

This file type is used to bypass LybCrypt copy protection in games where is implemented
