What feature would you like to be added?
Sign releases with a publicly known GPG keypair. Particularly the source code archives of the release should be signed as well since they are used by packagers (#470).

What are use cases of the feature?
This prevents various MITM-Attacks and offers users a way to verify the origin of the release.
