Multiple dashes do not display correctly in MD and RTE

Current behaviour

Initially found that the RTE would convert two dashes -- ( after -s -- --prerelease) in the Pre-release install script to joined dash when written as text in RTE, and therefore stored the cmd incorrectly as a joined dashes/hyphen. I fixed my initial problem by putting the joplin pre-release install script in code block so dashes remain.

I tested three dashes both with a space and a character after and they were also displayed as joined, yet repeating with four dashes the dashes display correctly in both MD and RTE. Is this a known bug as I haven't found reference yet

Expected behaviour
