I'd like to release v0.19 after merging the inotify PR:

WSL2 guestagent has to be fixed too, but not a blocker (as the WSL2 driver is still experimental and not used by Finch)

Mostly doing experiments, but if anything they would be for "1.1" and not stand in the way of 0.19 (or 1.0)

I was planning to clean up and restore the unix guestagent, but do it more properly than the first attempts...

It is not in use with the regular drivers, just old functionality "lost"

I would like to get #2033 included in 0.19, as it fixes a regression in Lima 0.18.

To address the issues will create a PR to use GRPC for communication instead of REST. If we have time we can even target this for 0.19. So the feature will be complete

Thanks, but I'd prefer to release the vz fix ASAP:

Maybe we should just release v0.19 from the current main branch (with bumping up images, etc.), and then release v0.20 in a couple of weeks with the gRPC and inotify?
