How to handle lab qualifier "J"? #1

LAB_QUAL in make('samples') shows which samples are below detection limit ("U"). Some lower concentration samples have qualifier "J", which I looked up and found means "estimated". I have no idea why these values were estimated, but they all seem to be on the low concentration end. What do we do with these values?

Steve mentioned this is pretty common, and we usually just accept estimated values as-is.
