I've loaded up quite a large amount of charts into my install but scrolling through a long list of charts to find the one I want or when looking for something new to play it can become quite cumbersome.
I thought about setting up letter / difficulty folders and manually hard-linking all the files but that's also really tedious & is quite fragile.
The perfect setup would be if I had my DTXFiles setup as so:
This could also extend to difficulties, with something along the lines of:
DTXFiles
├ DTXFILES.All
│ ├ box.def
│ ├ example-chart
│ │ └ example-chart.dtx
│ └ another-chart
│ └ another-chart.dtx
└ DTXFiles.Difficulty
├ DTXFiles.1
│ ├ box.def
│ └ example-chart
└ DTXFiles.2
├ box.def
├ example-chart // appears twice since it also has a "2" difficulty as well as "1"
└ another-chart
This would make casual play & browsing much more enjoyable - as well as making sharing the setup with non-player's much less daunting (since they could easily find "easy" charts).
