One of the things I love about Raindrop.io's browser extension is that if you click the extension's icon to open the panel to save a link.
IT'S ALREADY SAVED, instantly. Sure it doesn't have the title/description/tags you might want to assign to it, but it's in there.
And honestly, that's kinda what I mainly use their browser extension for anyway. An ingest point. I'll manage the links later in the actual interface

Oh yeah, it should be a switch. But I don't think it would be bad to have it be enabled by default. Just make it clear to the user.
With Raindrop.io my process for saving to my raindrop is just one click. while with Linkarden it's two clicks and I have to wait till it's confirmed before I close the popup window. With raindrop, by the time the popup has shown up, it already saved it and just displays the options to either delete it or change the name/description/tags
I'm not asking for a raindrop.io duplicate. Just like a lot of their functionality
