Buzzing sound in the Super Star Wars games #14
Comments
That post refers to an unreleased Snes9x 1.54 which I do not have access to the source code. I'm not sure I can fix it... Do you know where to get access to 1.54's source code? |
Just had a google search and read through the forums. It seems it's not officially available yet as it's still on development. There is no time scale for it either. Other than mailing them to ask for an early copy (unlikely) I guess the buzzing noise is here to stay.... for now. |
I'll leave this Issue open for the time being. Will merge+close when 1.54 is released, then. |
Sounds good. Cheers :) |
@lmmenge Take a look at this commit snes9xgit/snes9x@7be5976 It appears that the echo buffer hacks aren't necessary - I tried this in provenance and it removes the buzz from Super Star Wars. |
According to this post,(http://www.snes9x.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5011) the buzzing noise was an error with the echo buffer in Snes9x that should now be fixed?
