Hi,

we are using banana for syslog analysis. One of our graphs is a stacked histogram of severity of messages. The thing is that currently we have err severity colored with green :-), which is pretty misleading. Is it somehow possible to set color mapping of histogram values?

Thanks!

Hi - Yes, you can define stacked histogram color mapping from the Query panel by changing the color next to each query.

Thats not a satisfactory solution for me, I am querying by default *:* to get all the logs (for overview). Then in histogram I break down these values into logging severities using grouping feature of histogram panel.

How it looks like (currently err is orange for some reason, but I do not have any control over it)

@malejpavouk I see the use case. Perhaps this is an enhancement for the histogram and other panels, such as terms, as well.

Hi all,

is there any news about this specific case? I have the same case, I would like to color errors in red on TERMS and HISTOGRAM panels.

BR,
Tom
