Diablo 4 Crashes GPU Not Supported

I'm on a laptop on ubuntu 20.04, i managed to load diablo4 once and got into the game and played for a few minutes.

I restarted battlenet and now i consistently get the following error and it crahes and im no longer able to load the game.

It seems like it is crashing because of this GPU message

I have a razer blade laptop with 3070 nvidia

Any ideas why it worked the first time and subsequent time its not working. It worked the first time directly after installing lutris/battlenet/diablo4
