μRATT is a compact, ESP32-based RFID access control platform intended for use in Makerspace environments. It is part of an access control ecosystem that includes our larger Raspberry Pi-based RATT equipment access control project, the Raspberry Pi-based Doorbvot exterior door access control project, and the Auth Backend membership and access management database.
The first implementation is a retrofit for an off-the-shelf interior door lock. The board replaces the stock electronics in the lock, allowing us to control access to interior doors at our Makerspace using the same Auth Backend management backend that we use for exterior door access and equipment access.
