Failing to produce cartropy plots with xarray data. The following open cartropy issue describes what I'm experiencing: SciTools/cartopy#1120

Issue appears due to an object attribute being removed from a recent version of matplotlib that cartropy uses.

Curious if anyone can recreate this? Looks recent based on timestamps, and the fix is committed to the next release of cartropy, but also could likely force a downrev version of matplotlib as a workaround for our purposes?
