Clicking the button successfully toggles, but clicking the background bar doesn't. I tried with the minimum props.

I tried going to https://react-switch.netlify.app/ on Chrome Version 96.0.4664.93 | Windows 10 and could not reproduce the issue. Could you check that the demo doesn't work you? If not, could you provide which version of Chrome you're using?
