Interestingly, I saw the conversation on lobsters; I'm not sure where Jujutsu is framed as the best of Git + Pijul (perhaps it was in the past, but certainly not anymore). However, I guess the Pijul maintainer's main argument was the lack of clarity on the exact similarities between Jujutsu and Pijul/Darcs. The main readme looks fine to me since it clearly states that the first-class conflicts are not supported exactly as in Pijul/Darcs, but maybe the conflicts documentation could be improved by making it explicit as well.

The Pijul maintainer has opinions that I don't understand about how we mention Pijul (they consider the current mentions offensive as "bashing Pijul"). Let's just remove the references so we don't have to deal with it. I think the references to Darcs we already had in most of these places are sufficient.
