It has been deprecated for a while now, and replaced by trusted_key_servers (which itself will be no longer necessary once user IDs are public keys).

Some context of what the options do and the deprecation warning is in the sample config:

# This setting supercedes an older setting named `perspectives`. The old format
# is still supported for backwards-compatibility, but it is deprecated.
