Please read issue #217 for better understanding of this.

If you assign an already created ToDo to a user, then it is auto-accepted, but not visible in the list of the accepted user.

Steps to reproduce:-

  1. Create a todo and save it.
  2. Assign that todo to any user afterwards.
  3. Open the account of teh user to whom the todo is assigned.
  4. Open the my todo list in the RHS.

According to the post created, this todo is already accepted. But it is not visible in the todo list of the user.

Exactly the same issue here. This happened with the very first Todo item I create to test things out after installing the plugin. Now it is stuck in "limbo" -- it is in the "Sent Todos" and can not be deleted or sent to anyone.

I've tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling, but the item persists.

I'm also seeing this issue. I can edit the To Do and the To Do bot notes the edits, but I can't reassign the to-do or otherwise delete it. It continues to show up in my Sent To-Dos but is completely invisible to the assignee.

@andyylin @jlar0che Can you please share some more details about the issue? As I am not able to reproduce it and it's working fine in my case. Maybe the plugin release version, MM version, or the content of the todo ? Any additional details are appreciated.

  • I don't think the to-do content matters that much, as changing the to-do content doesn't change anything.
  • The original To-Do I believe was created from a thread and linked back to the thread. The contents had a mixed of English and Chinese characters
  • Welcome bot version: 1.3.0
  • Our MM version info:
Mattermost Version: 9.6.0
Database Schema Version: 119
Build Number: 8083694714
Database: mysql

Im currently experiencing this issue. sent a todo out and now its stuck in my outgoing and cant be resolved

Me 2. Have the same issue. 4 ToDos stuck in the sent folder, cannot reassign nor delete, the only thing I can do is edit the ToDo, nothing more.

We attempted to reproduce the issue but were unsuccessful. Could you please provide the steps you followed to reproduce it and share details about the environment you are using, including the Mattermost version and plugin release version?

Unfortunetaly it happens randomly, I have no clue how to reproduce the problem. I do everything the same way and mostly it works, only few ToDos stuck

Same here, I wish I could report a set of conditions that directly cause it, but I can't.

@cube79 @andyylin Just to confirm, you are able to access the right hand sidebar of the plugin but not able to use the options from the menu in the sent todo list? Are these options visible to you?

For all 4 sent ToDos that are stuck currently I'm having those two options.
