I get the same error as the OP and tried the suggestion above to no avail. I also opened another post: #64 Here a screenshot of the error attached. EDIT: after I re-ran the script having followed step 5 from above especially, it seems to work now! |

@dance12r 's solution manual solution worked for me, but I was able to get it to work with apt straight up by adding the raspberrypi.org apt repo:

Solution from issue for retrOSMCmk2. May be used for updating retrosmc script. It's strange, but if you launch RetroPie-Setup from retrOSMCmk2 there is no need for manual installation of omxplayer - EmulationStation installed like a sharm. |

I'm having problems using your script on my raspberry pi 3 running the latest osmc build.
When going through the process, I end up with the following error-message:
I located and opened the log, and found:
Does anyone have any suggestions what to do? I would so like this to work :)
And please forgive/ignore any stupid questions, I am very new to this.
