See #8667 and in particular #8667 (comment) .

In that issue it's suggested to convert the https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/GlobalEventHandlers/ondragenter page to use live samples, but all the related pages follow the same pattern and would benefit from the same change.
