I don't think this exists anywhere else, but vapour_read_extent is like a vectorized spex.

Need a generalization to extend gibble() to include extent, then use that to gather up object, subobject, path extents.

Also implies a method for gibble to scan a GDAL vector, and a good name for the thing.
