I'm usually using Franz 5.7 in Opensuse Leap 15.3 (GNU/Linux), but I've reproduced the problem with the latest 5.9 version as well.
I do have the following combination of services:
Whatsapp, Telegram, Discord, Skype, Instagram and Slack.
More or less, randomly, when typing a message, the "focus" is lost and changes to slack in the background (always to slack, it also happens to be my "last" tab, I might try switching the order to see if that's still the same behavior). Whatever I'm typing is typed into the slack tab (and pressing enter will send it there, usually with a very undesired result). In all this process, the tab (service) that was being used is still shown, so it's not easy to notice the problem, other than because whatever is being typed is not shown and the cursor is gone.
I hope the explanation is clear enough, I'll be happy to provide any info or logs you might need. I might consider this even a security issue, as messages for one service might end up being delivered to another one.
