Describe the feature you'd like

gas and fluid pipes should carry over the same colour feature as item pipes, with identical behavior minus the obvious lack of sorting, the colour masking of the pipes alone provides this such that machine inputs and outputs are much easier to run without having to manually map every face of hundreds of individual pipe blocks.
While this would still involve a lot of clicking on pipes to cycle the colours, its still much much better than the current every-face-must-be-configured implementation, which actively makes the pipes in this mod completely useless next to every other mod

Describe alternatives you've considered

I have to use liquid and gas tube options from other mods, it simply takes way too much time to manually map every pipe tile face, making for 90% or so of the total build time

Additional context

would also go in hand with an improvement to the configurator, or a seperate tool dedicated, for colouring tubes to a given colour, akin to the applied energistics applicator that uses scrollwheel to select the colour to apply
