I just installed mermaid expecting to get a standalone executable ready for use outside of JS environments. Shame one doesn't exist. Is this out of scope for the project?

Agree that the project should have such a utility. So yes it is in scope and work is ongoing. Check issue #6 for more details.

Will close this issue as a duplicate. If you think otherwise, just reopen! :)
