Unfortunately it seems that this project will not be maintained anymore :-(

Instead you could use the package felixble:server-templates which simply gives access to the blaze template engine on the server side. The usage is quite easy plus it is licensed under the MIT license.

@felixble Thanks. I actually was having issues getting helpers working inside this meteorhacks package anyways. Yours works like a charm.
