Provide a description of the new feature / enhancement

Powertoys Run > Calculator accept both . and , for decimals separator

40.23-65.23 is clearly -25 and not -2500

Making that assumption isn't possible since different regions and cultures represent decimals and commas differently. Example in the US a comma is for groupings and in German, it is the decimal.

The number 6,002 has drastically different meanings then on where your culture

We do have a issue to flip us to the calculator engine which should use OS defaults.. #2265

I am assuming that most people just use the decimal, rather than the thousands separator when typing manually.

For those people, ,. are interchangeable.

We do have a issue to flip us to the calculator engine which should use OS defaults.. #2265

Also, that does not apply to me either: I am using two different layouts, with a different OS language, and all of those locales have different standards with regards to what the separators mean.

. is what my Numlock . produced right now; it could've been , (ofc not when I am typing US English)
