Steps to reproduce

Cannot reproduce. I had gone into settings, turned off Quick Accent, and sent focus elsewhere. After a few minutes, I had second thoughts and went to the tray and left-clocked on the icon. No response. I tried right-click, no response. I then noticed that the settings window was open but in Not Responding. I took a dump from ProcExp, which is attached to this ticket (multi-part zip due to Github restrictions, swap the zip and 00n in the file name). The crash report is also attached.

was this one-time occurrence? or it happens from time to time? Could you update PowerToys to latest version and see if it happens there as well ? /needinfo

PowerToys settings app and taskbar icon are 2 different processes, so both hanging in the same time is quite strange.

From the dump, I see that the taskbar process is hanging on WaitForSingleObject() waiting on Bug report tool to generate bug report, which makes sense because in v69.1 while generating bug report, taskbar icon was blocked. So I don't think this one is a bug. This is changed in newer versions of PowerToys - taskbar icon does not hang anymore while generating bug report.

PowerToys settings app crash is definitelly an issue. Unfortunatelly, dump is for PowerToys.exe process and not for PowerToys.Settings.exe, so can't get any info about that one.
