This is part of #569 but we should have a partially filled out "report issue" inside the About screen or on settings screen. This would pre-populate

Information we'd output:

  • Version of Windows
  • Version of PowerToys
  • Which modules are enabled

For fancy zones, would these be helpful?

  • # of monitors
  • DPI of each <- would be helpful?

Do we need anything else populated by default?

One possible implementation would be to have a Generate Report buttons that creates the report and opens it in Notepad for the user to review it before reporting it.
We can generate a full report with the settings of all enabled modules along with the extra information like the ones you listed (yes DPI of each monitor can be useful).

The bug report tool has been implemented and it will be available in 0.29, we should consider adding the UI to invoked it from the settings or from the tray-icon context menu (for 0.31 see #831)

to implement #831, we need the UI to be implemented. what do you suggest to use and how should it look?
