I want to translate some of the document to Chinese. But I cannot show it on the website.

We would love to take community contributions. we are in the process of redesigning the website. All the TypeScript documentation is in handbook (https://github.com/Microsoft/TypeScript-Handbook).

@DanielRosenwasser can you comment on the logistics here? should @wengrs fork the handbook, or should it be a folder in the same repo?

I'm Chinese developer too . I want to translate TypeScript handbook and compiler error reporting to Chinese . but we need a i18n architecture . such as locale folder , locale config file , and so on

I'm not super familiar with i18n approaches, so if you guys have any specific documentation or ideas you could point me to that would be helpful.

By the way, I also know that ntesmail/Typescript-Handbook is a translation effort. I honestly don't know how good it is. It hasn't been updated in 2 years, but hey, neither has the handbook on our website. Consider collaborating with the translators if you can.

This feature request still open. How can we help to translate other languages?

I want to translate for the Turkish language. But I couldn't find any translation resource, for example, crowdin, transifex or something like that.

We do not have a process set up right now for this. one option is to form the handbook and translate it. we need to change the site to display the translated material still.
