Problem Statement

I go between DATA and Standard and Programmer quite a bit. It'd be nice to have a pinned area where these three are. Can we add that?

Evidence or User Insights

To make frequently used items easier to access.

Proposal

It makes it easier to use the app...
Goals

I can perform my tasks quicker.

Non-Goals

Solving world hunger. Calculator doesn't make food.

Low-Fidelity Concept

Requested Assignment

I'm just suggesting this idea. I don't want to implement it.

Thanks again for submitting your idea! However, after reviewing this pitch more closely, we do not believe it is a great fit for the product at this time. Thank you for your contribution to Calculator!

Favorites is certainly one way to address the problem of having to navigate so many different calculator and converter modes, but I think we would prefer to address this in a couple different ways. Unit converters can be streamlined quite a bit (covered by #594) and there are ideas like #872 that propose exposing converters in other modes without navigating, which is really interesting, and I think would address your use case exactly. If these don't pan out, we can certainly revisit adding favorites/pinning of individual modes, though. Thanks again for your contribution!
