This pitch looks like it has everything it needs for review. In the meantime, we'll keep this idea open for discussion so the community has the chance to provide feedback. Check out our New Feedback Process for more info on the user-centered process we follow for new feature development. |
Thanks again for submitting your idea! However, after reviewing this pitch more closely, we do not believe it is a great fit for the product at this time. Thank you for your contribution to Calculator! |
Favorites is certainly one way to address the problem of having to navigate so many different calculator and converter modes, but I think we would prefer to address this in a couple different ways. Unit converters can be streamlined quite a bit (covered by #594) and there are ideas like #872 that propose exposing converters in other modes without navigating, which is really interesting, and I think would address your use case exactly. If these don't pan out, we can certainly revisit adding favorites/pinning of individual modes, though. Thanks again for your contribution! |
Problem Statement
I go between DATA and Standard and Programmer quite a bit. It'd be nice to have a pinned area where these three are. Can we add that?
