In C++/WinRT, XAML classes are unable to implement traditional COM interfaces. It'll cause a compilation error.
The bug report has been open for nearly four years, but there hasn't been any fix. And in fact, it was recently recategorized as a "feature request" for some reason.
If anyone from the WinUI team sees this, can you say whether XAML classes will ever be able to implement traditional COM interfaces in C++/WinRT? Thanks.
