When creating a M365D or MDE/MDATP QueryProvider all queries of each provider type are available, however some are not cross compatible.
The main issue is with alert based queries. MDE/MDATP supports the DeviceAlertEvents table but M365D does not. Conversely M365D supports the AlertInfo and AlertEvidence tables and MDE/MDATP does not.
