Timeline: Oct
We met with Yutang from App Service about this change on 9/16.

This change could impact VS Code in these ways:

  1. If you folks have dependency or hard-coded our default hostname to always be “.azurewebsites.net”.
  2. The create workflow
  3. The deployment workflow

Creating Web App with a Unique Default Hostname

We should be able to add an on/off toggle like the portal until we're confident.

@nturinski nturinski added this to the 0.26.0 milestone Sep 25, 2024
