There was an update about four months ago, but apart from that, everything in this repo seems completely dead – lots of new issues opened, but no response from the developer on any of them.

Is this extension still being developed? Or should we not expect any more updates or bug fixes to it? Anyone know?

Dunno if someone's gonna bring it back from its coma, but it's definitely abandoned atm.

On another hand, there are 0 open pull requests.

This is open-source, my friend. There is always the option to look into the code yourself (and give back to the community).

@zypA13510 You're definitely correct. Would appreciate a fresh release with updated components, though. Current release has a nasty bug that truncates files bigger than 64KB on SFTP operations and I'm pretty sure it has been fixed with recent npm updates on commits since that release:
v0.86.0...master

I believe the latest version on the marketplace is 0.89.0. @mkloubert could have forgotten to push tags from his local repository, I think.

@zypA13510 New release with updated dependencies will still be necessary, 0.89 was released August and it looks like the issue with SSH2 stream (used for SFTP ops) was closed on September:
mscdex/ssh2#739

I've just set the extension up on VS Code, updated npm, ran a deploy op via SFTP and the file was complete :)

@eurico-goncalves If you need to update a dependency then I guess you could contribute the updated manifest (package.json) and lockfile (package-lock.json) as a PR? You'd still need to contact @mkloubert for merging and release tho.
