This problem seems to have appeared in one of the latest Firefox versions, it started a few days ago.

Attach (recommended) or Link to PDF file here: https://s1.q4cdn.com/806093406/files/doc_downloads/test.pdf

Configuration:

  • Web browser and its version:
    image
  • Operating system and its version: Windows 11
  • PDF.js version: No idea, I'm using the built-in PDF viewer
  • Is a browser extension: No

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Download the test file linked above
  2. Open in Firefox

What is the expected behavior?
It should look like this (opened in Adobe Acrobat):

This is, most likely, a duplicate of bug 1854090 and/or bug 1857015.
