You currently use a lot jQuery, so my first proposal would be to use QUnit with Phantomjs
but they are a lots of unit test library which can match for example Jest made by Facebook

Do you have any concerns about those two library (Qunit and Jest) ?

@Johann-S Jest is not available in browser environment. See jestjs/jest#848
